August 2008 Wednesday 27th SPECIAL BOOK AHEAD EVENT
in conjunction with Pennine Festival of Food and Culture.
Grow Pick Cook and Eat.
Have a tour round Joy's nearly organic gardens that she uses with school children, students
and in-service training for teachers and children's centres
Pick and prepare seasonal vegetables for ‘farmhouse' soup in the outdoor
cooking area(undercover if absolutely wet). Plant up an edible trough of salad
and herbs to take home, enjoy a short farm tour and then enjoy your bowl of
soup as part of your farmer's tea.
Please remember this is a book ahead event as we need to have enough food,
plants etc.
Don't forget wrap up warm. Not a designer gear function!! 		Cost Adults £7.50
